  • A salwar kameez is a combination of three pieces-Salwar, Kameez and Dupatta.

  • A salwar (pants) resembles a loose pyjama and it is drawn tightly at the waist and it tapers at the ankles whereas a kameez forms the upper part of the dress and it is worn above the salwar and it is generally of knee-length. The salwar kameez has transformed with the time and the look has changed from traditional to more contemporary.

  • Modern salwar kameez can get quite racy, with plunging necklines, transparent fabrics, and daring cuts...

  • The wide variation in designs allows women to wear salwar kameez for all occasions, ranging from daily use to special occassions including bridal wear at weddings.
